Mill Creek Police Chief Greg Elwin conducted the oath of office for the first three members of the Citizen’s Patrol at the April 23rd city council meeting.
As members of the Citizen’s Patrol they received limited police commissions allowing them to write tickets.
Jackson High School freshman Juho “James” Yoon, 15, served as a page in the Washington State Senate during the week of April 1st. He was sponsored by Senator Steve Hobbs.

Detectives from the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Offices arrested a 77 year-old Edmonds man on Wednesday, April 10th, for the 1972 murder of 20 year-old Jody Loomis.
Her body was found in what was at the time a heavily wooded area near what is now Mill Creek Road.
At their April 2nd meeting, the Mill Creek City Council identified Michael Ciaravino as their pick as the new city manager.
In an unanimous vote they directed City Attorney Scott Missall to negotiate an employment agreement with Ciaravino in time for their April 9th meeting where they are expected to finalize their city manager search.
