Recreational marijuana store just south of Mill Creek to have grand opening on Monday, August 18th

The owners of Herbal Nation, located just south of Mill Creek in unincorporated Snohomish County, received their recreational marijuana retail license from the Washington State Liquor Control Board on Friday, July 18, 2014.

Herbal Nation will open its doors to service the Mill Creek recreational marijuana community with a grand opening ceremony at noon on Monday, August 18th.

The new business just outside of Mill Creek city limits is Snohomish County’s second recreational marijuana store. A number of other local recreational marijuana businesses are waiting for their licenses to be approved by the Washington State Liquor Control Board.

The Everett Police Department is seeking the public’s help to locate 89 year-old Ethyl O’Neil who has been missing since Wednesday afternoon, July 16th, after a trip to the Everett Mall.

Aaron Snell, Everett Police Department Public Information Officer, reported that Ethel O’Neil’s blue 1987 Chevy Nova was found by a Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office helicopter this afternoon.

“At approximately 3:15 pm this afternoon, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office’ helicopter rescue team located the vehicle belonging to 89 year-old Ethel O’Neil who has been missing since July 16.” 

“The flight crew investigated and found the occupant inside the vehicle to be deceased.”

“At this time, there is no identity of the occupant. The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office will take custody of the body to make identification and notify family as well as establish cause and manner of death.”

The Snohomish County Auditor’s Office posted the updates for the August 5, 2014, primary election results on their website at about 4:30 pm on August 8th.

The Elections and Voter Registration Division of the Snohomish County Auditor’s Office posted the results updates for the August 5, 2014, primary election on their website at about 4:30 pm this afternoon. The next update will be late next week.

Only about 25% of registered voters returned their ballots so far in Snohomish County.
