Seating is on grass so bring low-back lawn chairs and blankets for comfort. Popcorn and soda will be available for purchase.

Admission is free, however, donations benefiting Snohomish County Parks will be gratefully accepted.

Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office warns the community, especially teens, about the dangers of smoking a type of synthetic marijuana known on the street as “spice.”  Two Sultan teens became ill after smoking “Black Voodoo.”

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is warning the community, especially teens, about the dangers of smoking a type of synthetic marijuana known on the street as “spice.”

The warning comes following two reported illnesses by two Sultan teens who became ill after smoking “Black Voodoo” earlier this month. Both teens survived, but suffered various reactions after smoking the substance, including seizures, hallucinations and vomiting.

Mill Creek Boulevard pavement overlay expected to cause delays

According to Scott Smith, Mill Creek City Engineer, the contractor completed the grinding work on Mill Creek Boulevard on Thursday, April 24th. He said that the repaving work would likely begin on Monday, April 28th, or Tuesday, April 29th.

According to Scott Smith, Mill Creek City Engineer, the contractor completed the grinding work on Mill Creek Boulevard on Thursday, April 24th. He said that the repaving work would likely begin on Monday, April 28th, or Tuesday, April 29th, and to expect delays, “Significant delays can be expected and residents are advised to take alternate routes if possible.”

Woman arrested after short pursuit in south Everett

On Saturday, April 19, 2014, at about 1:45 PM a Snohomish County Deputy saw a vehicle on 112 Street SE near 7th Avenue SE in Everett with a male passenger known to have a felony warrant. The Deputy tried to stop the vehicle but it fled northbound on 7th Avenue. A Patrol Sergeant quickly terminated the pursuit. The suspect vehicle then struck two cars stopped for traffic at Everett Mall Way, causing minor injuries to the occupant of one of the vehicles.
